As a tech-savvy business analyst, manager, or director, SurePower Innovation enables you to do an extensive range of configuration in house, without extensive involvement of your IT department. ISCS is also available for both insurance expertise and implementation tasks, but we don't want you to be dependant on us for tasks you would rather do in house. We have trained clients to manage many functions in house.
SurePower Innovation is ideal for organizations with tech-savvy business analysts who want to be hands-on in the tasks listed in the training below. SurePower Innovation's architecture makes almost all configuration tasks possible without knowing Java, SurePower Innovation's programming environment, or touching computer code. A modest knowledge of XML is helpful for some tasks. Even with these capabilities, business and IT should work hand-in-hand, keeping lines of communication open.

Configuration Training by ISCS
For insurers looking to customize and configure SurePower Innovation in house, ISCS experts can provide all required training, mentorship, and guidance. Training can include some or all of the following:
- How to use the comprehensive product configuration tools
- How to set up your rates and rules using SurePower Innovation’s comprehensive rating engine
- How to set up your rules using SurePower Innovation’s comprehensive rules engine
- How to configure your workflows and processing options
- How to build and load your customized forms
- How to create, format, brand and customize your documents, and letters
- How to extend the system to capture your specialized information via SurePower Innovation’s easy-to-modify data structures; and other functions
- How you can modify screens, including agent and insured portals, with standard HTML and CSS modifications.
The SurePower User Group
Networking with other SurePower users gives you an opportunity to learn new ways of creating business value with the system, as well as solve challenges and meet new market challenges. We have an annual meeting, and throughout the year, everyone has access to an ideas portal where ideas large and small can be discussed.
Ongoing System Enhancements & Documentation
ISCS has a regular, release schedule for enhancements and new features. We provide detailed release notes with each release. These notes include an overview of the business value of new features and other developments in the release, which items should be "must-do" and which are optional.
The notes include specific instructions, geared toward your IT professionals, on the steps to deploy the features, including the actual XML scripts to add or code, if necessary.The release notes allow you, to do as much in house as you would like. ISCS is there for you to perform the work or to provide more information as you perform the work in house.
For hosted customers, ISCS performs the upgrade as part of the hosting fee. If you are a hosted customer, you can turn on the new features or choose not to use them until some later time, or not at all.
