Areas of Responsibility:
The Database Administrator
role requires a strong technical foundation in database structure,
configuration, installation and practice in a medium sized company. Candidates must have strong attention to
detail, excellent customer service skills, experience working with internal and
external company resources and the ability to support multiple locations.
Candidates must also be versed in industry standard security practices and
SAS70 audit guidelines as they pertain to the role as network administrator. Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
that can multi-task is a must. This position currently reports to the VP of
Cloud Technology but may change as needed.
Manage Microsoft SQL high availability
SQL Server Replication set up and maintenance
Setup and Manage Database Mirroring and Log
Develop Database objects and structures for
Work with hosted customers to meet their
Monitoring disk space
Monitoring Database performance
Performing Database tuning and optimization
Performing trending and metric analysis for Database
Documentation and experience with SAS70
Support the Cloud Technology Group in
Disaster Recovering Remote site configuration and functionality
Work with Cloud Technology Group to develop and
implement company standards for environment sizing, usage, allocation and

Database Administrator Experienced
SQL Server 2005 and 2008 (senior level)

Ability to provide configuration, monitoring

Idera Diagnostic Manager, SQLsafe and Server
